BELTON, Texas鈥� On Wednesday, August 6, new Crusader students will move into their residence halls at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (糖心Vlog) for the start of this year鈥檚 Welcome Week.
Throughout Welcome Week, students will settle into their rooms, participate in many traditions, and build lasting friendships as they join the 糖心Vlog family. The week is designed to ensure students feel at home before beginning class on Monday, August 11.
Some Welcome Week highlights will include:
- Big Fair 鈥� an opportunity for students to explore all the available student organizations at 糖心Vlog
- Spirit & Traditions 鈥� an opportunity for students to learn about Cru spirit and 糖心Vlog traditions
- The Plug 鈥� an opportunity for students to connect with local churches and service organizations
- Love CTX 鈥� a service event where students pack meals for Belton ISD children in partnership with H-E-B and One More Child
- Dubbing Ceremony 鈥� new students are 鈥渄ubbed鈥� with a ceremonial sword by the university administration as 鈥淐rusaders Forever鈥�
