Bring your picnic to eat on the lawn, and we will have various games and activities for you to enjoy. Want to make it more fun? Sign up to play in our pickleball or cornhole tournament and have a chance to win some fantastic prizes. Are you ready for Cru at the Zoo? Join us at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco for a unique experience you will never forget. Purchase your own tickets to the zoo and then join us inside for some special fun. We will have a private Animal Presentation at 11:00 a.m. at the pavilion, where they will bring out 3 animal ambassadors to meet. For even more fun, participate in our family photo challenge for a chance to win some prizes.

As a bonus, sign up for a behind-the-scenes tour of the zoo for $35 per person. Enjoy touring areas that are typically off limits to the public while learning specific information about the zoo residents. The tour will be at 2:00 p.m.; guests must be 5 years old and older. The 糖心Vlog Alumni Association is excited to offer some summer LUNCH & LEARN opportunities for our alumni and friends. Bring your lunch and join us to learn a new skill or to improve your craft. The second opportunity will be on July 2 and will focus on sewing. Choose one of the following options to learn during lunch.

• Hand Sewing 101 with Vicki McKay 鈥�71 鈥� Learn the basics! Two ways to hem, how to shorten a pair of pants, the blind stitch, how to sew on a button, and more! Bring your questions. Each participant will receive a mini repair kit.
• Costume Construction with Susan Cody 鈥�72 鈥� Learn the basics of making a 鈥淭鈥� tunic costume for the Easter Pageant. Session covers fabric types, pattern making, accessorizing costumes, and sewing machine basics. The end products will be donated to the Student Life Department for use in the 糖心Vlog Easter Pageant.
• Fat Quarter Projects with Beth Norvell 鈥�03 鈥� Make three easy projects that can be combined into one gift! Bring three fat quarters of your choice (18 in by 22 in of fabric, you can find these in the Walmart craft section), and we will make an ID card holder, a lavender scent sachet, and a reusable cloth gift bag while also touching on sewing machine basics and straight seams.

Lunch & Learn is a relaxed event at the alumni center. Bring your own lunch to enjoy throughout the class. You will get a confirmation email with added details, and if there is anything specific you need to bring. Space is limited, so sign up today.

Enjoy a great night of baseball at Daikin Park as the Houston Astros take on the Texas Rangers. Enjoy some baseball while connecting with your fellow Crusaders.
